Three Ways to Reconnect With Your Partner

Have you been feeling disconnected from your partner? What have you and your partner done to connect in the last week? Some couples use date nights or getaways as a time to connect, but it is also important to be intentional about connecting with each other in between these. Here are 3 things that you and your partner can do to feel more connected on a daily basis:

  1. Recognize how important the small connections are. Be present, notice, and accept your partners’ bids for closeness. 
  2. Understand each other’s love maps: ask questions, remember the answers, and keep asking questions every day. 
  3. Build a culture of appreciation and respect. Notice when your partner does things that are important to you and acknowledge these out loud.
